Of course, one of the major highlights and most significant moments in Mayalls history was when, after forming John Mayalls Bluesbreakers, he met his soulmate - Eric Clapton - and went on to release the album, Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton which well and truly catapulted him to worldwide legend status. Nothings changed and now, some 57 albums down the track, John Mayalls music is as fresh today as though it were being heard for the very first time.
